EDUCATION:	Graduated from High School in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm 1978, majoring in foreign languages and history.
	MA in English and Spanish from Charles University, Prague, 1982, majoring in written translations and oral interpretation of these languages to and from Czech.
CAREER:
1982 - 1983	Czechoslovak Press Agency, English Section, Prague, Czechoslovakia. Translator of news.
1983 - 1993	TESLA Valašské Meziříčí translator and interpreter
	TESLA´s main product lines consisted of electronics, including (1) acoustic products, such as loudspeakers and microphones; (2) medical implants, such as cardiac pacemakers and leads; (3) other medical electronic products and equipment, such as cardiomonitors, blood pressure indicators, ultrasonic diagnostic devices, etc.; and (4) teaching laboratories.
	Translated technical manuals, specifications, brochures and international correspondence for this company into English and Spanish.
	Served as interpreter to and from Czech, English and Spanish, as required, during all discussions between TESLA´s management and its international customers, partners and potential investors.
1993 - present	Free lancer providing domestic and foreign customers with services in the area of translations and interpreting. Experience in the work for pharmaceutical companies. In 1994 - 1995, interpreted a set of lectures and seminars for the Czech Association of Pharmaceutical Industry, organized and partially subsidized by PHARE, and translated specialized texts for these lectures and seminars.
	Sworn interpreter of English language since the 12th November 1993.
	Member of the Union of Interpreters and Translators.
	Member of the Chamber of Court Appointed Interpreters and Translators of the Czech Republic
